A team of Cùram volunteers delivers hot meals four times a week to clients identified as requiring the service by Social Services.
The meals are cooked in the Tigh a’ Rudha kitchen for a list of clients updated daily. They are then collected in insulated boxes together with a slip listing the clients option choice from soup and main or main and dessert. Clients pay £5.50 per meal.
A Cùram director is nominated as the Meals on Wheels service director with the responsibility for the volunteer rota and liaising with Social Services regarding the service.
